Blood Moon and DST

(Not a real photo... but very cool in any case!)
Did you get up in the wee hours of early March to see the Blood Moon/full moon eclipse? We did at my house, and I'm glad we did! We set the 3:45am alarm to get up right before totality at 4:04am. I wandered outside first to check for clouds before waking the kiddos... there was a huge cloud but it seemed to be blowing over quickly, and as I stood there considering whether or not to wake the others, a pack of coyotes began yipping and howling from down the street! We live in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, but we're definitely in a 'burb neighborhood on the eastern side of the highway, so I was surprised to hear them so close! It was an amazing soundtrack while looking at a Blood Moon!
I got everyone else up, we bundled up and plopped down in the middle of the quiet (and shockingly lit - we don't need so many lights on houses at night!) street to watch. The large cloud quickly passed and we got to see the Earth's shadow fully cover the full moon. I told everyone about the coyotes but we didn't hear them anymore... that treat was mine alone. :)
We watched for a few minutes, found some constellations, and realized we were still sleepy so I tucked the kids into bed again and went back outside for a few minutes more. An eclipse is a good time to release things that have been feeling heavy or holding you back, so I spoke to the moon quietly and dropped some things I've been carrying lately. It felt good.
Whether you saw the eclipse or not, you can always quietly (or loudly!) ask the Universe to relieve you of anything you're ready to release. If you'd like some help with that, reiki is also a great way to move unwanted energy or blockages, and I can help you with that!
There is still some time remaining on my Winter discount code (have you been lucky enough to find one of my cards around town?) - it's good through the Spring Equinox on 3/20/26. I've just drafted my Spring cards with an even better discount that will be good through the Summer Solstice, so keep you eyes open for that very soon!
The next seasonal thing coming up that I'm most excited about is Daylight Savings Time! Which side of that debate do you fall on... DST or Standard Time? I was raised in Florida and LOVE the sunshine, so I'm always happy for this change! I'm taking my girls down there (Florida) for a few days to visit old friends for Spring Break later this month, and am so looking forward to the beach time! I have that trip plus a few other things coming up in March and April so it may be difficult to find a time to book with me, but don't be discouraged! I'll have plenty of openings as we move through the Spring and into Summer.
I wish you all light and love as we move through the changing seasons, and look forward to seeing you on the reiki table!
